Butterfly in a Jar

Insects in a jar. When we were little we often caught it for no reason. But we never know, what it would be like to be a butterfly in a jar. We have a strange habit of seeing a butterfly that we catch and then being locked up just to see the beauty of its wings, while the butterfly wants to go out looking for food on flowers.

Like an insect in a jar. Confusing and don’t know how to get out, but sad when we know the history that they used to fly and roam free. Realizing that we are sometimes like insects in a jar makes my mind ask, who put us in this narrow jar?

In a narrow jar, flying up, left, and right but they always hit the glass. I wonder what it’s like to be a butterfly that doesn’t know that what’s blocking it is glass. Did he find his world strange, or did he find him utterly helpless.
Starving, alone and trying to promise that tomorrow will eat more and telling the weirdness of today after successfully flying properly, maybe that’s what I would think if I were a butterfly in that jar.
