Poverty snatches away dignity.
Poverty smothers even the modest ambitions.
Poverty succeeds in making insolent behaviour right.
Poverty strips away self-esteem.

Poverty worsens mental health.
Poverty warrants a lack of shelter.
Poverty weakens immunity towards diseases.
Poverty wipes out a semblance of normalcy.
