Calibrating

A Poem

My measurements
scale defeated graphics memorially
situated
in an archaic square
like before they closed all five sides
The red heartbeat
stopped the reed from
full calling potential and writing
down mixes
for the next party the dire
predictions of a night in town out
Alone at last for good
then
sent to the side
for swirling metric paw and tooth
tinker tinker but that thought may not
come out
