Callous Courtroom
Poetry of prejudice

The hidden reason
you are harshly judged;
You’re not like us
with the power of cold.
We loathe your differences
and where you’re from.
The way you talk
and your mis-matched
clothes.
You know your life
is for sentencing.
And we haven’t
played fair
this Century.
As our privilege
in history
is arrogance.
With a long
track record
of bigotry.
