As with Amy’s poem, I think mine is more Senryu than Haiku.
It’s been a while since I’ve done any camping. When the kids were younger, we used to head for the northwoods every chance we got. We loved to fish and canoe, swim and build a campfire and make smores. There’s nothing like the smell of bacon cooking in the fresh morning air unless it is coffee perking on the campstove.
Thanks again, Amy Marley, for leading the way on this next to the last day of the SCWBI challenge.
