Below I am presenting you with two poems — one written by a human (yours truly), and one written by poetry new comer, Chat GPT. Yes, that’s right. Your favorite AI Chat Bot can compose poetry.
But is it good poetry? We’re about to find out.
Give each poem a read and use your finally honed senses to determine which one was created by me, a flesh-and-blood poet with not-so-thick-skin, and which one was created by Chat GPT, a heartless bot with a soul of endless coding.
Should be easy, right?
I know what you’re thinking. Spotting AI generated writing is a piece of cake. Only humans can add that distinctly human touch to their writing. Machines don’t understand humor, let alone know how to convey it. Irony? No way. Emotion? Not a chance.
