That’s Joe’s House

Joe went to the police and contacted the detectives who had worked on the case. He told them he had bought the house and wanted to know the history of it.

He needed to know what had happened.

He mentioned that there were some strange things happening and he thought it had to do with what happened. They agreed to let him see the files.

After reviewing the files he could see that they didn’t put a lot of effort into the case. The lady and her kid were beginning to become a problem. Seemed her ex-husband and new boyfriend were starting to fight over custody of the girl. They would have shouting matches whenever they came in contact in public. Police got involved often.

The boyfriend finally got fed up with the whole situation and left. Now the mom started blaming the ex for her boyfriend leaving. They too argued in public and the police were again involved.

After a while, the father got fed up and left the state. He was not around when it happened. He had an alibi.

They found the lady dead. The house was ransacked. They called it a robbery. That was about as far as the investigation went. Mom and the kid were gone. Problem solved. One thing he noted was they never found the girl.
