Celebrify
Salutations!!
Most of my dear readers would have been wondering about my absence for some time. Well, now that l am back, at least for a while, l have decided to make this article more conversational and a little different from the usual.
So, where have l been? I joined an educational program earlier in August this year, called, nights and weekends at Buildspace. And, honestly, it has been more than just nights and weekends that l and my team-mates worked on the project that should have better prospects in the near future. This I am hopeful of and for.
I have been part of the Buildspace experience in the past wherein l worked on some smart contracts to deploy tokens and launch an NFT. Back then, lazy minting and other such wonders did not exist and everything was done from scratch.
This time around, l was super motivated after reading a tweet early in August from CZ of Binance. I thought that l would re-ignite my grey cells to build something that would increase user transactional security in wallets. Around then, Buildspace opened up admissions yet again and l couldn’t have been more delighted.
After being selected from amongst more than 17000 applicants, reminiscent of fond memories, l joined team Spectreseek. As l got about putting together a team l made new friends. Most opinionated that it was a bold move apt for house Spectreseek.
Then, Celebrify happened. No, it’s not what you are thinking. Celebrify is a whole different project. It’s an app that has nothing to do with my initial thoughts. It’s an app that came about as three different individuals from three different background from across three different timezones decided that we’re going to graduate from Buildspace and make the concious choice of believing in making a common interest the next best thing with each of our respective skill sets.
Celebrify started out under a more generic name and concept and evolved to become as of today, “Celebrity: The One Stop Shop For All Your Occasions.”
It consists of multiple features some of which includes the handling of events and gifting involving user generated prompts. Atleast, those are the two that we have managed to fit onto our most recent demonstration video sent in for evaluation a few hours ago. We had to keep it short and within a set timespan.
