ChatGPT Is Dead, Long Live ChatGPT
OpenAI released the ChatGPT API for companies around the world to use.
On March 1st, 2023, OpenAI released an API that allows any business to use the tech behind ChatGPT in their applications, websites, products, and services.
Products built using the API launched within an hour.
Upon hearing the news, many people deemed this a game-changer for companies around the world. I personally tweeted and compared this API release to the invention of the printing press and the invention of the internet.
Upon reflection, I realized that I was wrong. Here is why.
