So it seems that Samsung is apparently working on yet another smart device, this time, it’s a smart ring. According to a report by SamMobile, not only is the project already in development, but there has also been a few patents filed that hint toward some potential features of this device.
The main question regarding a smart ring is what it will actually do that makes it so smart. Well, one fairly obvious feature is one it might share with other Samsung smart devices, which is health tracking. Similar to the Samsung Galaxy Watches, which can track heart rate, stress level, sleep, water intake, and other health-related things.
Additionally, this device may also be able to control various other devices, such as your smartphone, TV, tablet, or computer. It may even be able to control various smart home devices, which will likely be set up via a smartphone app.
