Another big achievement for Illumination Integrated Publications on Medium. com.
About Illumination
As an active Illumination writer who writes daily for the publication, I am glad that Illumination became one of the top Medium publications that crossed the 100,000 subscribers/followers milestone. I want to briefly introduce this remarkable pub to my fellow writers and readers.
It is a great achievement for Illumination, its readers, its writers, its editors, and its owner, Dr Mehmet Yildiz. It surprised me that Dr. Mehmet and ILLUMINATION have now a similar number of followers.
Interestingly two months ago, when Dr. Yildiz had 101K followers, ILLUMINATION had just 88K. Now, while Dr. Yildiz’s follower count has inexplicably stalled, his publication continues to attract a remarkable number of new followers.
As a writer, I don’t understand this trend and try to make a sense of it. I couldn’t believe one of his stories only earned 77 cents. It is mindboggling and illuminates new writers like me.
Illumination become one of the top active publications in recent times. It is like a heaven for new and old writers. I like writing for this publication because it accepts almost every topic like over 100. For example, I like writing about mental health, business, and leadership.
It serves from the beginners to most advanced writers. ILLUMINATION-Curated has 3000+ accomplished writers (10%) and a formal boost nominating pub which I also enjoy contributing. Illumination supports 30000+ writers.
As a boost nominator, Dr Yildiz answered frequently asked questions about the boost program.
From one of the editors of Illumination who mentors me, I found that the publication gets over 60,000 views and 30,000 reads per day as average.
In a month, it crosses over 1.8 million views and over a million reads across the platform.
A publication created 4 years back has now become one of the top publications showing the hard work the owner and editors put in to make it one of the most successful publications of all time.

One of my favourite curators is Aiden (Owner of Illumination Gaming) who has already posted 215 collections. Here’s his latest one.

He recently interviews Tim Denning who has 326K followers, 3 times more than Illumination. It is intriguing that Tim now spends more time on Substack and gets 50 times more views there. I couldn’t believe Tim’s stories were not boosted on Medium, as mentioned in the conversation. I wonder why.
