When I thought about stress in my younger years, I used to visualize work or study deadlines, financial concerns, traffic jams, or challenges of daily obligations and responsibilities. They were sure stressors but more surface level like the tip of the iceberg.
Later, I learned that these external pressures were visible but were just the surface of a more significant challenge that we couldn’t see but experience with felt senses. I noticed that beneath them was a proverbial big iceberg, emotional stress, an invisible undercurrent to the human eye that profoundly shaped my mind and body, helping me increase my emotional intelligence, maturity, and mastery after years of hard work.
