Dare to Destroy (Creatively): The Art of Creative Destruction
Why You Need to Break Your Own Life to Build It Better
Do you remember that one drawer in your kitchen? The one overflowing with mismatched Tupperware lids, expired soy sauce packets, and a cork from a bottle of wine you don’t even remember drinking?
We recently moved — and trust me, we had plenty of such drawers.
And life in itself can be like that drawer: We hold onto stuff thinking it might come in handy, but instead of creating convenience, we’re just storing chaos.
If you agree to a certain extent with this: You’ve been cluttered!
That, my friend, is why we need the glorious, slightly terrifying concept of creative destruction.
No need to flinch at those words.
Destruction sounds oh-so-negative. I agree.
Creative destruction sounds like the tagline for a demolition derby, but it’s actually a fancy term for something profoundly simple yet life-changing.
It’s about intentionally dismantling certain parts of your life to make space for new growth, better ideas, more space, more time, and less clutter.
