DarkBERT can identify cyber security threats which include data leaks and ransomware.
Research team in South Korea has developed this amazing tool to assist law enforcement agencies in combat against cyber crime.
The team created a large-scale database by crawling the Tor network to optimize DarkBert’s ability to adapt to the language used on the dark web.
To protect against ethical issues that may arise from this content, which is often of a sensitive nature, they implemented deduplication, data filtering, and pre-processing.
Due to the potentially dangerous content of the dark web, DarkBert is not accessible to the general public yet. That said, those looking to use the AI model for academic research may submit a request.
DarkBERT looks like a positive move in this endeavor.
