It’s been a week already, can you believe it?

I really can’t, the massive writer’s block has finally suffered an initial blow and has developed a crack. The glacier needs to melt away within the next three weeks.

One-fourth of the challenge is over and I feel quite emotional, never imagined I’d end up writing about how my day goes daily.

Today was rough, realized I’m not someone who can function with less than 7 hours of sleep and yesterday I got only 4 hours.

From feeling groggy in the first half to feeling dazed in the second half, my day ended.

Worked from home today, which saved me the commute time and allowed me some rest.

Let’s get into our questionnaire —

  • How did I start my day?
  • What did I eat?
  • What did I accomplish?
  • Where did I mess up?
  • How did I end my day?

Read on…

How did I start my day?

Reached home early morning, after sleeping over at my aunt’s I reached my place at 7:15 a.m.

Sipped on some lukewarm water and jumped straight into the warm shower.

Got ready and went straight to my meditation trainer and meditated for thirty minutes, guess I slept as well in between. My jerking head made me question if I was meditating or sleeping.

Struggled through the session somehow and came back and started office work at 10:30 a.m.

What did I eat?

Every once a week, I refrain from eating standard meals and eat — a fruit, vegetable, or juice diet.

Today was one of the days.

Breakfast — Small bowl of roasted foxnuts, a handful of blanched almonds, and walnuts with a cup of tea.

Breakfast Time — 11 a.m.

Lunch — A bowl of cut banana with cashew, pistachio, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds with a dollop of organic honey along with a bowl of cut mangoes.

Lunch Time — 1:30 p.m.

Dinner — Boiled peanut, zucchini, and cucumber salad, shallow fried potato slices, and a bowl of dragon fruit and apples.

Dinner Time — 6 p.m.

What did I accomplish?

Flow state writing for 2 hours, one slot in the morning and one in the evening.

Checked 30 % of my To-Do list from the day job.

Completed a long procrastinated personal chore.

Where did I mess up?

Missed the morning yoga class.

Reinstalled Instagram and watched motivational content till my head hurt.

Did not take an afternoon nap to recover and have a better evening.

Gor overwhelmed and dug up something from the past and cried my eyes over it.

How did I end my day?

Took a fifteen-minute brisk walk and performed my nighttime skincare routine.

Meditated again for fifteen minutes, brushed and flossed my teeth.

Hit the bed at 9 p.m. after feeling grateful for the wonderful life that the creator bestowed upon me.
