Are tomorrow’s generations doomed? Have our technological advancements steadily made us more entitled?

Entitlement is a Good Thing!

Conversation with a 50-something-year-old…

50+ year old: You young people have no idea what it’s like to fight for something you really want. You’re too soft.

Me: What’s young to you?

50+-year-old: People born in the '80s, 90's, and especially 2000's

Me: What makes you say that?

50+ year old:

  1. Y’all never had to walk a mile or more to a bus in the cold to get somewhere.

2. Y’all had cars in your teens.

3. You were given TVs, cell phones, and the clothes you wanted.

4. Your parents spent money for you to attend baseball, basketball, and track practice, plus dance team, private lessons, competitions, etc.

5. Most of you never worked a job as a young person and if you did, you didn’t save or invest your money. You didn’t have to.

6. You expect college to make you who you are.

7. You don’t know what it is to strike out on your own til you make something of
