So what are the some of the signs some rich people possess that often go un-noticed or unheard of?

  1. Rich people prefer renting and not buying

The average human being thinks of the resources and wealth they have, and how exactly you could use your wealth and resources in order to save up as well as invest. You might think that owning property helps you save up tons of money that you would spend renting, perhaps you may have the idea that you may have purchased triple the amount of property you pay for one property renting due to the high costs involved, this might be true in many countries of the middle east, but is it really applicable in the west?

Ahh yes, if your thinking about property taxes, you nailed it. A man who possesses a lot of wealth is the scape goat of the tax infested system. The more wealth you possess the bigger you lose, this is the reason why most rich people prefer renting and not buying, no property taxes! so renting in certain localities is a win-win for the rich people.

Maldives, Malaysia and Madagascar. We usually find rich people all over the place, because they usually tend to travel, this is too trivial a sign to mention. But let’s focus on how travelling has a high correlation with the preference to rent. One of the main perks of renting property is that you do not really need to maintain it.

Maintenance costs are huge for property that you own, this obviously is not a concern for the rich, but what they really value is their TIME. The amount of time they would have to spend maintaining would not allow them to travel places easily, which makes flexibility a huge reason why rich people prefer to rent and not own property.

2. Dining out at fancy restaurants

You may have wondered why exactly rich people tend to dine in high quality fancy restaurants, the real reason is: High quality FOOD, for most rich people generally they give high value to what they consume , at least for the food lovers that are conscious of their body and healthy eating habits. As they say, “you produce what you consume”, although this cant always be applied literally. High quality food in fancy dining restaurants allows for an exquisite culinary experience.

The chefs at these establishments are renowned for their skill, quality and use of premium ingredients. Some of the popular restaurants they often dine at include high class influencer (celebrity) chefs like Burak Ozdemir for the restaurant CZN Burak Gurme.

And of course, social opportunities. Fine dining environments often provide rich people a place to engage, discuss, converse with high profile individuals who dine at the very same high class restaurants. They form connections for their business every opportunity they find. The ambience of such high quality restaurants can enhance the overall experience and contribute to building relationships in a glamorous setting.

High quality restaurants often prioritize privacy and exclusivity. Generally, rich people tend to avoid crowded dining areas and crowded restaurants , if its not a particular event that they may attend like a function or business dine-in. They prefer more intimate settings, and a more personal environment for dining, especially when it comes to dining with their family.

3.Buying high quality unbranded clothing

We often think that rich people spend tons off clothing with big brand names displayed. This might not be true for most rich people, as generally the labels could give away the fact that they are rich, and most people that are truly rich tend to hide this. They focus on quality over quantity, clothing that lasts long.

This does not mean that they do not have the ability to buy rich clothing, or that it would be a detriment to their expenses, rather its more closely linked to being a needless expense. Branded clothing is not really in their list of priorities, the practicality of high quality unbranded clothing is something that appeals the rich considerably.

Some affluent people also prefer to have their own style, why invest their wealth in a designer styles that have already been popularized? Make a style of your own. Many trend-setters are born this way, after collecting a high range of quality clothing, thus allowing them to wear less clothes in less time with a particular style of their own.

4. They spend money to save time

As mentioned briefly in other contexts, time is what real rich people generally value. Its not the brand or the trend, if you look at a lot of the rich people that offered a service, its the value that they provide which really matters to them, which automatically creates a branding of themselves.

So you see them often hiring private chauffeured car services, why is this? They spend to save time. A lot of time is often spent in travelling to places be it a daily commute or a business journey. Meanwhile, instead of being stuck in jammed up traffic, rich people can use this time to cater to other needs such as business calls or other personal family calls, or even read books as a lot of rich people do.

Apart from dining in high quality restaurants, what about the daily course of meals, do they often cook for better quality? Nope, they spend money up for daily meal plans as expected. Spending money on meal plans allows for them to choose a good quality of healthy food based on their own interests and most importantly plays a role in time efficiency. A lot of time may be spent on cooking the food for their daily needs, so they let others do the cooking.

They may even hire in-home personal chefs since this makes it a lot more feasible for them to focus on work or other personal activities.

So a lot of these signs may beckon you to reconsider the traits of real rich people and help you identify if a person may be hiding a treasure of wealth.
Discovering real affluence goes beyond flashy displays. From renting over owning, slyly dodging property taxes, to relishing in unbranded clothing for timeless style. Fancy restaurants aren’t just about high quality meals; they’re networking hubs where connections flourish. Forget brand labels — wealthy individuals invest in quality, not logos. And in their world, time is the ultimate currency, spent wisely on services that free them from life’s mundane tasks.
