My Old Problem

We, you and I and We and They: We all live in different worlds, but the same world at the same time.

For example, oh, I forgot to mention that I am God.

For example: There’s a young American woman who wants to have an abortion.

I asked around the Americas. They were mostly of the shaming mindset, condemning if you will.

They want her to have the child and bear the full responsibility for the raising of that child.

Being God, I asked around. Immediately, a bird said she would happily raise the child if it weren’t human. Changing the DNA of the child in the human woman’s belly at the time was not an option. Yet, I was able to find some avian companionship for the lonely bird.

But, I was left with the original conundrum.

What to do with the wanted, yet unwanted by the mother human child. There came a response from a Japanese couple interested in the child. The Christian American camp was uncooperative, to say the least. It wasn’t their problem. But it was.
