Do Corporations Value Workers?

Or are Profits the Main Goal?

When I was a kid, my dad worked one job. In fact, he worked this one job for his entire life. We had enough money. I had clothes, food, and a roof over my head. In the summer we took trips, and my father invested so there was extra money in case things such as a health crisis happened.
