You know the one
doing the right things for the wrong reasons?
Though most never see
one’s true intentions.

Got a MD
and saved lives of many
who sobbed joyful tears, unaware
it was all for the money.

Donated a fraction
to charity; would be smiling the same
as those alongside, in need
and oblivious to the fame that came.

Then children appeared and
tuition was handed, without stealth.
While each successful abroad, the
greedy no more needed to share the wealth.

Most never see — even in thyself —
those who would be
doing right things for
all the wrong reasons
.
