I see a lot of hatred on here. Hatred towards anyone with money, it seems. Some writers pen libelous articles calling individuals psychopaths and other rude names because they’ve been successful in business and made a lot of money.

These same people often scream poverty, victimization and self-pity, but won’t get off their butts to improve their own lives.

I think they’re just jealous.

People with money have to work for it. Even people born to privilege have to work to build their empires.

Elon Musk is an example of one man who gets a lot of stick, but he started off without much money and worked in odd jobs as a young man. When he started his first company, he couldn’t afford an apartment, so he ‘rented an office and slept on the couch and showered at the YMCA’. (source)

The bottom line is, people who are successful have to work at it. Being jealous won’t help you achieve financial freedom and the wealth you’d like. Being inspired by how people achieved their wealth might, and trying to improve yourself and your productivity, so you can earn more — that might help too.

People who piss away their money on booze, cigarettes, and lottery tickets, then complain that they’re poor have only themselves to blame.

Sometimes you just have to make sacrifices, make compromises, and do things you don’t like to get started. Then work hard to get on in life and achieve your dreams.

To those who are already working hard and feel underpaid, it’s a stepping stone. Work out how to get a promotion, or a better job, and build a side hustle. With determination and hard work, you’ll get more of what you want eventually.
