In my dreams,

twinkling intimacy aproaches,

like sun beams in the sky,

I remember those eye shocking days,

wavering whispers like pebbles thrown in the sea,

I sweep away day break,

rubbing my eyes red from disbelief,

I walk on broken plexiglass,

our pinky promises fading as dusk settles in,

like blood dripping from an open wound,

I cover up snow covered lies,

dipping my toes in boiling water,

I hear the echoes calling out your name,

like sun beams in the sky,

I remember those eye shocking days,

tears of rain slide down my cheeks,

in the sunburnt sky,

I wrote the ending to the fairy tale,

Alice never returned home,

peterpan forgot about Wendy,

cinderella never met her prince,

and Nala never saved Simba,

like poisoned lips,

our fairy tale met an end,

In my dreams,

I journey through the passage of moonlit skies,

starlit nights beaten in Spetember,

like falling leaves,

we painted our forgotten tales,

under graffiti woven walls,

we kissed our American woes out the door,

trailblazer kids running in the wilds,

In my dreams,

twinkling intimacy aproaches,

like sun beams in the sky,

I remember those eye shocking days.
