No Sign of Life on Earth
It was a bright day on Sunday in midwest California. John a doctor by profession just left his house after having breakfast with his wife Emily and only son Nathan. John is almost in the middle of his 40s while his wife is still much younger than him. Emily is only 31 years of age, while his son is three years old. John and Emily met at a Cafe shop and eventually fell in love. It’s been five years since this knot. John has an intense love and passion for his wife and child. John and his family live in a rental house and John has been trying to get his own home since his marriage but unfortunately failed to get it.
There is a contrasting life on Mars as compared to Earth. Tom a space scientist for an airspace agency on Mars went on to discover creatures on other planets in the universe. After failing to get any evidence of life on Jupiter, Tom decided to make his next stop on Earth. People on Mars can change their physical appearance according to the environment, can become invisible at any time, and can read others’ minds. Tom’s spaceship collided with an asteroid, causing severe injuries to him. Tom suddenly makes his stop in California in front of John’s car.
Tom was severely hurt and John took him to the nearest hospital for a medical checkup. While doctors were examining Tom, John went on knowing that some spaceship had entered Earth and NASA announced 1 million dollars to find that inhuman creature. Eventually, doctors called John to see Tom, and John came to know Tom would be discharged in the evening. So, John took him to his home after Tom was discharged. Tom’s traits and habits had a significant impact on John.
Tom usually does not eat meat and only eats vegetables and he didn’t sleep for 24 hours which triggered John’s mind. Emily asked John if he was free this weekend or not to have a family trip. John replied by saying that he had to go to the office to finish some paperwork, while Tom was observing him he came to know that John was lying and thinking about a date this weekend with another girl. Tom was a bit surprised that people on this planet can lie which is a very new thing to him.
John was keenly observing Tom’s traits and after two days he was sure that Tom was the inhuman creature NASA announced a 1 million dollar prize. So he decided to hand him over to the chief police officer of the city. John settled the deal with the chief police officer for half a million dollars. John asked Tom to come with him for a medical checkup in the hospital. Tom suddenly came to know that he was lying and what is his core goal. So Tom pretends as he has no idea about it to know more about this human creature on Earth.
John gets Tom in a Cafe to meet the chief police officer. The chief police officer came in a civilian dress so that Tom could not get him. On the other hand, Tom has an understanding of the whole scenario but pretends that he has no clue what’s going on. In the cafe, the chief police officer pretends to be a doctor to take Tom with him. John has an idea that the chief police officer will send him to NASA and get 1 million dollars and they both will share 1 million dollars. Tom reads the chief police officer and comes to know that he has a plan to trade him to SpaceX rather than NASA to get 10 million dollars.
The people on Mars are very naive, pure and innocent. Tom was suddenly surprised by this creature called Humans on Earth and for a while he was thinking about the survival of life on Earth. He observed the life around him and went into deep thinking, about how people can live on a planet where each second and third person has so much deception, greed, selfishness, and heist for money, women, and wine. Tom’s planet Mars has gone through great development and evolution but they reached such heights without any greed, selfishness, and arrogance.
Tom decided to end his journey after observing this creature called Humans. Tom was very disappointed about his journey it took 31 years of his life to find another creature on the planet and all this ended on Earth and Humans. Tom decided that after returning to his planet he would retire and spend the rest of his life with his family. John was having a chat with the chief police officer and eventually, Tom said “Earth is going towards destruction very soon” and disappeared it was his prediction after observing the nature and behavior of Humans. When Tom went back to his space agency his boss asked did he found anything unusual on Earth he replied.
“There is no sign of life on Earth.”
His boss asked again anything he would like to add and he replied and left the agency.
“Earth is going towards destruction very soon.”
