Eating During This Time Of The Day May Improve Mental Health
The time of day you eat can help improve your mental health
We all have our innate body clock, which governs hunger and satiety.
It also plays a big role in moods and mental health.
You may have noticed this experience on a day-to-day basis.
For instance, I’m a morning eater, but my appetite disappears in the evenings. As I practice fasting during this time frame, it has become highly beneficial for weight loss, maintenance, and health.
It’s also key to my mental health — I am much happier eating when hungry! I’m sure you know that feeling all too well — those ‘hangry’ attacks from starvation.
The food we eat can also hugely affect our moods and mental health.
Although some of us may need medical intervention, it certainly will give you an added boost if you integrate the right nutritional plan alongside this.
An interesting study of 19 people (twelve men and seven women) was conducted regarding food consumption during particular parts of the day.
