What is Eid ul Fitr?
Eid ul Fitr is an Islamic festival. Eid ul Fitr is a three-day celebration that takes place on the first day of the month of Shawwal (the 10th month of the Islamic calendar).

Preparations:

In the last days of Ramadan, the preparations of Eid also start. Cleaning, Dusting, and decorations of homes start with the start of last Ashra (the last ten-day of Ramadan)

Eid is a reward for all Muslims like as a Labor gets his wages at the end of the month.

Women also start shopping for clothes, jewelry, heels, makeup, and necessary things. They also confuse about choosing colors for their dresses and matching heels as casual. Men and children are also so excited about the preparation of Eid. Children wait for Eid impatiently.

Chand Raat:

A night before Eid during which the Moon is sighted that makes the end of Ramadan is known as Chand Raat. Chand Raat is a night of happiness. All Muslims seem excited about watching Moon, praying, and wishing on Chand Raat. Girls buy Bangles and Myrtle (Hina/Mehndi) for Eid.

On Eid, all Muslims attend morning prayers together in the local mosque. They also give gifts and surprises to each other on Eid. Ladies make many sweet dishes for family and they enjoy different foods together. They invite each other to dinner and lunch. They also go for trips on Eid.

Aidee:

Aidee (gifts that Muslims give to each other on Eid) is the most favorite for children on Eid. Children demand their favorite gifts as Aidee. Eid is a sign of Love and Happiness. All Muslims also thank Allah on Eid.

Zakat:

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam. All Muslims also give Eid charity donation to needy people as Zakat donation. The amount of zakat is so small.

“Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.” Quran, 2:277

Zakat is given to needy people so that they can also enjoy the happiness of Eid. Zakat purifies our yearly wealth. Muslims give Zakat every year at the last of the month Ramadan.
