As reported by CNBC, tech billionaire Elon Musk has declared that civilization on this planet will crumble if the birth rate is not lifted.

With over 7 billion people currently inhabiting the planet, climate change impacts rapidly speeding up, and in the midst of the greatest extinction event the planet has ever seen, Musk has gone against many leading scientists and called on people to have more kids, not less.

Speaking at a Wall Street Journal event, Musk said there are not enough people on the planet. Channeling his inner Trump, Musk stated that too many “good, smart people” think there are too many people in the world and that the population is growing out of control”.

“It’s completely the opposite,” Musk said, urging people to look at the data. “If people don’t have more children, civilization is going to crumble. Mark my words.”
