Elon Musk, the owner of companies like SpaceX, Tesla, has said that within a year, a computer chip inside the human brain will be ready and will be installed in the human head. That is, the human brain will be directly connected to the computer through this chip. In 2016, Elon Musk founded the Neuralink company, which is involved in creating ultra-high bandwidth brain-machine interfaces.
In Joe Rogan’s podcast show Elon Musk said that a robot will do the work of putting a chip in the brain of a human being. He said that this technology can also be developed as a full brain interface in about 25 years.
In fact, Elon Musk believes that Artificial Intelligence (AI) should not dominate humans, so it is necessary to connect the human mind to the computer. Musk told that a piece would be removed from the human’s skull. Electrodes will be put into the brain through the robot and the device will be placed in the hole. Musk said that this would leave a small scar on the head.
Neuralink is also working on creating a ‘thread’ that will be as thin as one-tenth of human hair. This thread will work to treat the brain energy of humans.
