Entropy Will Mess Up Even The Best Team Culture

It’s Wednesday morning, February 19th. As I sip my morning coffee and scroll through my emails, I notice a message from Chris. He’s one of the key people in a Silicon Valley tech startup, Swizzy*.
A few months back, I helped Swizzy identify its mission and values. It’s a great company. It has an inspiring purpose. Incredibly gifted people run the business, plus — it’s well-positioned to make a dent in the world.
If Swizzy were a person, I’d want to hang out with it all the time. Everyone on the team is wildly funny and wickedly smart. They always work on exciting projects and make you feel like you are witnessing history being made.
