To soft mornings, where guilt fades away,
In falling rain, my soul finds its way.
Birdsong outside, a sweet melody,
Aroma embraces, a fragrant symphony.

Ten deep breaths, a moment so still,
Feet on the floor, ready to stand,
Curious potential, a day to explore,
Here for a visit, life’s treasure to store.

In this year ahead, let simplicity reign,
Keep me present, alive, free from strain.
Permission to sit, judgment put aside,
Words flowing freely, expressing with pride.

To humans trying, day in, day out,
Wishing for friendship, care, and delight.
Authenticity effortless, joy in its wake,
Explore creativity, no pretense to fake.

In a new land, find a job that aligns,
Attune to rhythms, senses unfold,
Find my people, a community to hold.
Gratitude for creating, for waking each day,
Longing for meaning, refusing to sway.

In writing, in moments, explore with glee,
Take this time further, tap into the unique,
On a messy journey, relentlessly seek.
Step aside, let yourself get ahead,
Ever be kind, ever be you.
