With eyes wide shut and mirage in our lives,
we are born to die and die to be reborn.
The master — our EGO (Edge God Out) —
blinded with desires and guided by our guilt,
is ripping into pieces the life we try to build.
Oh, but how we love to worship,
follow, and adore the master of ourselves,
not knowing that the EGO is doomed to be renewed.
Now, with my eyes wide opened and freed from my old self,
the wisdom of the ages pushed me into a new shore.
I am now reborn from water and divine,
becoming a new self: “I think, therefore I AM”.
“Cogito, Ergo Sum.”
