Facebook is the world’s largest social media platform, so big that even after losing $230bn in stocks in a single day, it continued operations almost unscathed.

Facebook is one company that almost every living soul on this planet has at least heard of. It is “THE PLACE” to go for when looking for your long last school friend, your first crush you almost forgot about, or what your unfriendly neighbors are doing today. That’s the range of information available on Facebook today. Facebook has seen unprecedented growth over the last 2 decades, so much so that the problems that it is facing today are highly unique to it as a company.

On Feb 02 2022, Meta (parent company of Facebook) lost $230bn dollars of valuation in A SINGLE DAY. To put that into perspective, that is larger than the total annual GDP (value of all products, goods, and services produced ) of New Zealand as a country.
