With the rains arriving in Mumbai, the weather, before and after the downpour seemed beautiful.

She would always look outside from her bedside window but could never see the whole sky.

She wished there was a place in her home where she could stand and feel the wind rushing through, feel the drops of rain softly fall on her cheeks without getting wet; look at the view outside as far as her eye could see but no one could see her.

Then one day, her dad saw a window in a neglected corner, partially hidden by clutter.

Together they cleaned the area out and her mom placed some plants on the window sill.

They all were amazed at the view that this newly found window revealed.

It did not look out to any neighbouring house, it opened on the road outside her home and she could see the far-off hill as well from here

This was a fresh perspective, it was everything she ever wanted from the window

And just like that, that corner became her favourite place to be.

All it required was searching for it, opening it and then investing some time and effort in it.

She knew what she had to do next time she wanted something and did not know where to find it.

She would ask for some help, find a window and peep outside.
