Finding Faith in Fearful Times
Elevating the Call to Eradicate Homophobia
“Love is Love.”
“All who enter are welcome here.”
“We accept all.”
The above-mentioned sayings are frequently echoed and resonate with many who call themselves “allies” of the LGBTQ+ community. According to a 2022 Gallup poll, a little over seven percent of Americans identify as LGBTQ+. Furthermore, these sayings are uttered under the guise of right intentions but wrong perception. If the truth be told, we, who are a part of the queer community face the greatest level of fear known to everyone yet. Consider the following perspective on the present-day plight of those of us who are LGBTQ+ and the struggle we endure on a daily basis:
