Why use a standing desk?

I was used to being active and moving around, so the idea of being able to change positions without losing productivity appealed to me. Not to mention, research has shown that using a sit-to-stand desk may counteract the harmful health effects of a sedentary lifestyle.

My aches and pains weren’t debilitating, but they were uncomfortable. And I like taking a proactive approach to health issues whenever possible.
