One of the best foods you can add to your diet is fibre.

It’s a diabetic-friendly and essential nutrient for those with no problem regulating blood sugar.

If you feel tired during certain times of the day — that may be highlighting something you should address.

Those with type two diabetes know how important it is to regulate their blood sugar and prevent spikes and crashes.

The difference between common and high-fibre carbohydrate sources is that fibre cannot be absorbed as energy by our body.

Therefore, it’s not converted to glucose and doesn’t raise blood sugar levels. In addition, fibre slows the digestion process, making digestion and absorption of glucose very slow.
