We don’t usually associate the color brown with a ray of light, but that’s precisely what we have in terms of brown crystals, stones, or minerals. The shiny lift on the bands of an onyx stone pairs well with the yellow highlights on a tiger’s eye. Rutilated quartz looks spectacular when backlit, and fossilized tree sap was never more amazing than when illuminated by a morning springtime sun.
