In one on my recent gaming news posts, I talked about an announcement regarding a new Xbox controller called the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core.
If you haven't read that post, here’s a brief introduction to this new controller.
The Core model is a more affordable version of the regular Series 2 controller. Everything about the controller is the same except for the additional components that come in the box.
Various additional components such as different thumb sticks, rear paddles, and a different D-pad aren't included in the box of the Core controller.
These additional components can be purchased separately in the Complete Component Pack.
The Core controller is a great option for people like me who have been using an elite controller for a while and need a replacement. Since I already have the additional components, I can just make use of the Core itself and even benefit from a color change.
An official Microsoft seller called Antonline is offering free digital copies of Watch Dogs: Legion with the purchase of the controller.
You will receive the code for the game via email within ten days of purchase.
