Happy New Year — New Year, New Beginnings and Goals Setting Time. Do you see New Year as the time to set Personal and Professional Goals? The most often discussed topic during the New year season is —
“What are your Goals?” And.. “Did you set your Goals and Resolutions for the New Year?”
This time of the year, everyone’s attention would be on this topic. Be it online or offline. Be it among friends or colleagues. No exceptions!
I live in a far away city from my hometown for work. Holiday season is the season, I get to spend more time with my family and friends. We discuss on a range of topics, when we meet.
But the New Year Season discussions’ will always have this topic. And I am sure, you too would be part of such discussions with no exception.
It became a ritual, I get ready for the discussion with some research. My eyes always look for the topic from months before! This year is even more special, as I have started Writing.
When this discussion unfolds within our childhood friends, it’s very interesting. Being childhood friends, we are close yet have different opinions and thoughts! On almost everything. We bring in a variety on to the table for any topic of discussion. Be it Goals or other.
Meenu strongly believes in and setting New Year Goals and Resolutions and she follows them as a ritual. Without fail. Prachi have strongly opposing thoughts on the topic and the rest two of us share thoughts that fall in the middle of these two ends. I couldn’t agree more with Seema.
