Today, in this article I will be explaining the benefits that Affiliate Marketing gives us. This is going to be an interesting article, so I request you to stay up until the end if you are a beginner in the writing community.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Trust me, it is not some concept of rocket science. It is very simple. You advertise a product or a service, if someone is interested in the product or service that you have promoted, they will surely go and check that out. If they buy it, you get an amount of commission for promoting that particular product. It is as simple as that!

Take an example- You are writing an article explaining how one can lose weight and you want to link a product that can help your audience. At the end of the article or anywhere in between, you can mention the links to the products. You might be wondering, “How can I do that?”. You need not worry about that. We will get to know that too with the flow of this article.

Types of Affiliate Marketing

There are primarily three types of Affiliate Marketing- Unattached, Related and Involved. These types represent how we are associated with the products we may be an Affiliate for. But, we will not go deep into the details because this article is written only for beginners. Modernly, there is Pay Per Click, Pay Per Sign up or Pay Per View (mostly for newsletters).

Blogging is not where you can include affiliate links, you can include these links on your personal or business websites, social media platforms like Meta, Instagram, Twitter, and more.

Mentioning Affiliate links in your social media posts is one of the best ways to earn more money. That’s because, on social media platforms you reach a larger audience. With Instagram, you can easily drive traffic to your websites too if you have a large number of followers.

Websites where you can start becoming an Affiliate

  1. Amazon Affiliate Program-

Yes, Amazon also provides the opportunity for the shoppers to earn some percentage of the total rate. But the purchaser need not pay any additional amount. The percentage at which Amazon offers the commission is very less. Somewhere around 1% or 2% or hardly 5% for valuable products. Apart from the earning, there are many advantages about which we can speak.

First of all, It is Trustworthy! Just a small sentence but a true one. If you haven’t yet applied to any of the affiliate programs, I suggest you to start from here. I am sure we all must have ordered from Amazon at least once in our lifetime, we know how high-quality products are delivered.

Secondly, It is Simple and decent! Another simple sentence but again a true one. The Amazon Affiliate program is best known for its simplicity. Unlike others, this can be handled by people who are not very well versed with the Internet. You can scroll down at the end of the home page, you will get an option to become an Affiliate. Simply do the required process and then you can promote the products that your article is about. But, for that you will have to find audiences who are interested. Only then, you will earn a handsome of money.

2. Fiverr Affiliate program

I am pretty sure that most of us have an account on Fiverr but aren’t aware of its Affiliate program. Fiverr is known for its vast number of users. You can start using it if you are not already doing that. There too, you can apply for the program and start earning a handful of money. You can promote their services through a sharable link. They have different commission plans for their products to which partners can choose and promote them individually.

You get a customized sharable link that you can place anywhere online; on your websites, YouTube channels, Blogs, and a lot more. Fiverr buyers who click on your link and register will automatically be assigned to your account.

CONCLUSION

Lastly, I would like to end this article with a disclaimer.

Affiliate Marketing is very common among content creators. The only disclaimer is that you should make sure that you sign up for Trustworthy Affiliate programs. Numerous websites promise you to pay a commission of their earnings but they don’t. So, beware of these frauds. Do not sign up for Affiliate programs that seem suspicious to you.

That was it for my article! I hope you liked my work.

Thank you!
