You should invest in learning the online business/solopreneurship game. For sure.

I certainly have. I’ve invested thousands.

But when I started, I didn’t have the money. Plus, not all creators I follow and like have courses.

So sometimes, I just steal their know-how, and today, I’ll show you how.

Who I look for.

Finding the right role models is a game changer.

Sure, you can learn from the big names, but only in theory. Copying their strategy would be crazy: you don’t have the money, the audience, and the experience to do it.

Instead, find role models who are just a bit further down the line and who are good at something you want to develop.

For example, I keep learning from Tim Denning & Eve Arnold. Tim is light years ahead of me, but still very relevant to what I’m trying to do. Eve is closer to where I am.

I learn from them because they do great on Medium, they are successful solopreneurs (as opposed to entrepreneurs with offices and employees), they have big e-mail lists, and they sell digital products.
