It was surprisingly easy to achieve this with minimal errors using Google’s tech!

I’ve been actively writing on medium for a while now and ideally I use my multi-monitor set up with a mechanical keyboard + gaming mouse for writing, editing and publishing and related purposes.

This is not me or my setup — but mine is something of a less fancy version of this, without guitars and such large living space. Photo by Roberto Nickson on Unsplash.

But I had to travel recently and I could only carry a couple of mobile equipment with me. I got a magic keyboard for my iPad (not much magic) and was trying to get up to speed with it. But I have been only able to get to 53 words per minute with ~95% accuracy as per typing.com.

I also have a 16-inch Macbook Pro with me. But I haven’t been using the keyboard of the mac directly either for a long time. So there too, I got something like 63 words per minute with 94% accuracy.

If you think I am a typing loser 💁 — this is better than the average typing speed as per typingpal.com.

I needed something faster to convert my thoughts to digital words and I think I have found the solution.

My Android Phone

Sounds counter…
