How Much YouTube Paid Me for 100K Views on a Short (It’s Not What You Think!)

If you have seen those articles of how YouTube shorts are the exciting and easy way to earning millions on YouTube, you may want to think again!

The is a lot of Bro Marketing hype out there, but the aim with my articles is often highlighting what the reality of monetising YouTube is a lot harder that this clickbait titles will actually reveal.

Seeing any video take off and hit that 1 out of 10 score on YouTube is exciting. It really can just take one video or even a Short to change the trajectory of your channel, but it often takes a lot of work for one video to hit for most people.

The reality of what that means in terms of income when it comes to YouTube shorts may not be what you expect. My 100k video is not a viral hit but a slow long burn video that took a little time to get going but is now a year later, is still bringing in 1k views a day.
