The world we live in is changing at an unprecedented rate.

Technology is advancing at lightning speeds and can potentially disrupt entire industries overnight.

Having a roof over our heads and food in our fridge is becoming increasingly expensive.

Social conflicts are becoming more prevalent locally and globally, adding to the stress and uncertainty we feel when our heads hit the pillows at night.

In today’s world, having emotional strength and resilience are more crucial than ever. However, emotional strength does not mean suppressing difficult emotions, being stoic as stone, or faking a smile.

Emotional strength is the ability to respond to one’s emotions healthily rather than impulsively. It involves a person’s capacity to deal with challenges and bounce back from them, not necessarily how they react at any moment.

Characteristics of Emotionally Strong People

  • They can zoom out and gain a better perspective when unexpected events occur without getting caught up in the moment.
