We are back once more with more world building tips to share and instead of my usual fantasy and general worldbuilding tips, I want to share the ideas we should consider when making a dystopian world. It can easily have more things to consider but these are the things I find are staples.
Creating A Dystopian World
Many people enjoy a dystopian world. If you don’t know what a dystopian world is look at Dune, The Hunger Games trilogy and even World War Z. So, think of any world that has faced the brink of extinction or is ruled where survival odds are slim at best. Many people have a love for dystopian worlds and so, us authors have a blast writing it. So here are things I consider when looking at a dystopian world and they may be a great guide for you as well.
