In August 2022, I wrote an article discussing the state of the newly minted AI Art movement with tools like Midjourney and DALL-E 2. In that article, I discussed the music and television mediums: how changing technology affected how artists were paid and what it meant to the overall financial models.

Six months later, there have been remarkable changes in AI Art tools’ capabilities and features. Unfortunately, for those in the digital art community, these capabilities mean it will be harder to monetize straight digital artwork. I think there will still be a need for those who make art to an exact specification instead of those who are happy with reasonably generic compositions.

But what about non-digital artists who still want to use the power of Midjourney or DALL-E 2? If you need help creating a narrative, Generative AI can help you do that.
