It’s not the end of the world if you don’t get what you want out of life. It’s the beginning of a new beginning, and you’re going to have to learn how to deal with it. I’m not saying you should give up on your dreams, or that you shouldn’t try to achieve your goals.

What I am saying is that there are ways to cope with disappointment that will make you feel better about yourself and your life in the long run.

Here are a few things you can do to help you cope:

  1. Accept the fact that life is a series of ups and downs.
  2. Don't dwell on the negative.
  3. Take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
  4. Be honest with yourself.
  5. Learn from your mistakes.
  6. Keep moving forward.
  7. Have faith in your ability to change.
  8. Stay positive.
  9. Let go of your past.
  10. Find a way to make the future better for you and for your loved ones.
  11. Recognize the good and the bad.
  12. Know your strengths and weaknesses.
  13. Do what it takes to be happy.
  14. Make the most of every moment.
  15. Enjoy the journey.
  16. Smile.
  17. Laugh.
  18. Love.
  19. Live life to the fullest.
  20. Give thanks for the blessings you've been given.
  21. Remember that no matter what happens in life, you will always have someone to turn to for support and encouragement.
