There has been an influx of people in the art world creating works of art using AI programs such as Midjourney or Stable Diffusion. The rise of the “AI Artist” and I use the term “artist” extremely loosely here! A better description would be “Prompt Creator”

These individuals have been using machines to create artwork and taking work away from real artists. And that is a problem!

While AI-generated art can look amazing, it’s crucial to understand the difference between the brushstrokes of a real painter and the algorithms of a computer program.

So what’s the problem? I hear you say or even comment!

One of the main concerns is that AI art is generated from data sets that the algorithm is trained on, including copyrighted works without permission from the original creators.

Another big problem is the same as with the people who use AI to write and that is they do not declare that their “Work” was created by a machine. Now, this is because the creator knows that people do not want to pay money for something that is…
