The great thing about Beehiiv is the way you can earn a lot of money in at least three ways!
The first of course is by use of monetisation. By now, we all know how that works. People pay a monthly or yearly subscription and the money is paid out to you, minus Stripe fees, and in the case of Substack, a ten per cent commission for them.
The problem is, as we all know, it can be difficult to get subscribers and it can take quite some time to grow enough to provide a significant income.
The second is targeted advertising. You can consult Beehiiv’s network of onboard advertisers and connect with those whose business products/services are in alignment with your site and the newsletter/web stories you create. Anyway, they advertise on your posts/newsletters and you get paid a commission for any new business they get via your story.
The problem here is there may not be any advertisers in the Beehiiv network whose products or services align with what you create.
The third is by referral. You simply become an affiliate partner and post a link back to Beehiiv on all of your newsletters and posts. Again, you will get a commission from any new business Beehiiv does via your link.
