As a medium writer, I think all writers sometimes wonder about what to write next after we have written our piece, our mind is just drained of ideas. How can we bring more ideas from the depths of our minds? In the following few lines, I will try to help you with this problem.

There are many ways to generate new ideas; the best method depends on individual and specific needs. However, there are some general strategies that everyone can use to create new ideas endlessly.

  • The classic method for generating new ideas is brainstorming, which involves only you, and it may also include a group of people, who share and build upon each other’s ideas.
  • Organise and connect ideas. It can also be a good tool for generating new ideas try to see the connection between different topics and concepts.
  • Read. This is the most important point according to me because even the idea of writing this post has come to me by reading something. You see that’s how it works, for example, if you are reading my post now try to imagine what topics could be connected to this post that you could write upon, there you have your topic.

  • Randomness. Try, to sit with a pen and paper and try to write something. You might think this won’t work, but it worked for me I have written this poem just by doing this. It may as well work for you.
  • Stimulate your mind by playing some games like chess puzzles etc.
  • Write a random word or a random sentence think about it. Or think about an image randomly and describe it as best as you can.
  • See your post statistics and try to understand which type of topics work more and try to read more about that niche.
  • Sometimes, the best ideas come to us when we are sleeping, in our dreams. Keep a dream journal as soon as you wake up whatever you remember write it down, this helps a lot. This has other benefits as well we’ll talk about it in another article.

Be creative, be persistent, be open-minded and you will never have a lack of ideas instead you will be overwhelmed by your options.

Thanks For Reading

Happy writing, will be more happy if you leave me some claps.
