You Do Not Have to Struggle With Creative Ideas Anymore
Take ideas from me. See what I do to find new ideas to write.
Writing can be hard sometimes. There are some days when no matter what you do, there seems no possibility to come up with new ideas. On those days all you are left with is two choices — take a break or push hard to come up with some below-average articles (according to your standards) with some random unwanted topics and publish them online. But see in this competitive world there is zero chance for below-average content to stand out. So, there is no point to waste your time and energy on them.
Now, if the deadline is hanging on your neck and you have to come up with some quality content then what should you do? Should you be breaking your promise and delay or use some other resources that can help you with coming up with creative content ideas?
You must be going for the second choice. I get it, even though I will also go for the second option any day. Now, there are so many blogs, videos, and books that are available on the internet to help you out, which you can go for. Some of them may work for you, some may not. But in case none worked then probably this article is for you. Here I will share — how to find creative ideas to write. The methods are all tested, and I use them every time I struggle (on a few occasions daily). I can guarantee that you will not have to go for any other article on the exact same topic if you follow these suggested tricks.
Let the Google Search box help you out
See Google is a mine for new ideas. Every day Google’s search engine processes over 8 billion searches. This means there is a huge sea of questions that people ask to google daily. And you can be someone to answer the question. And for that Google search box can be your best friend. All you need to do is to write the topic you want to write on. Google will show you all the trending questions or frequently asked questions. Take any of them and start writing.
For instance — suppose you want to write on protein powder then write the topic or add any prefix with it, like — how, how to, why, etc. See the image below for the best understanding.
Quora can be a lifesaver sometimes
My second go-to option to find new ideas if I fail to get them from Google is Quora. Now for those of you who don’t know Quora is a question-answering platform. So basically you can ask any question related to any field there. If any of the users have the answer then they provide you with it. Now you may be thinking about how it can help.
Use Quora the same way you use Google search box. Go on Quora and search for a topic. Quora will provide you with the most followed questions (more follows equal, people are more likely to read them). Pick any of them and create a new article from it.
Medium is always ready to help you out
Even if the last two places are not enough for you to provide you with a new blog idea then Medium got your back. Almost 20,000 articles are published on Medium daily, so there is no lack of ideas on the sea. You just need to grab them. If you are really struggling with ideas then it might be the time to read more and more articles from other writers. Take ideas from their posts. This not only increases your writing ability/skills but also can help you build good relations on the platform.
The trick that I generally do when I really struggle I just read a few blogs and which one I can write on. Then give my own perspective on the topic (disclaimer: never copy-paste other’s ideas).
LinkedIn — a hidden gem
You may find this point a bit strange. Because for all these years, people know that LinkedIn is a social platform for all working people, but nowadays LinkedIn has become more than that. Every day thousands of creators post their ideas there to build a personal brand or online presence; you are going to use this opportunity to find creative ideas for your own article. Creators there post awesome creative ideas, and after using it for a while I fell in love with the platform.
So, if you see all the other ideas are not working for you then this one can surely help. And if you want to connect with me there then I am just a request away.
Enough for this blog.
